After seeing this idea from a fellow maker, Mike Coffey https://www.coffeycustombuilds.com/ I decided to make a cart to house my Fuji Spray turbine. I made a few changes and made my own design, including a hose reel, a paper holder to protect the top of the cabinet while mixing finishes, and an additional filter to protect my Mini Mite 4. The manufacturer recommends that the turbine be placed 20 feet away from the area where the finish is being sprayed, and since i work in a 24 by 24 space, it is difficult to achieve this specification. So for me the extra filter was crucial. I made every attempt to force all air entering the cabinet through the filter by maintaining air tight openings (within reason) everywhere i could. It has been a great addition to the shop and it will see much use in the coming years. Check out the full build video here…
