I Had some clients reach out and wanted to come up with a design for a built in bench that would take the place of their table and chairs. They had a lovely dining set but it was too large and made the space feel smaller and to top it off, you had to walk through this area to get to the amazing backyard patio/pool area which many guests enjoy in the summer months. They wanted to have the seats lift up and reveal storage space for oversized items that are used seldom in the kitchen. They had the cushions custom made to fit and because i knew they wanted a grey cushion, i accented the large white bench with grey face frames on the shelves that cap each end of the build. It was a great way to reclaim space and opened their kitchen/dining area up a lot, that makes for a nicer transition to the outdoor entertaining area.
